Hi all...

Welcome to the madhouse soon to be renamed the the S7 forum (bwahahahaha).

+1 on the lovely o/f van.
Adrian,
Hmm, that's not going to work if we end being renamed Southern Thunder first...

Welcome, Richard!
It is a bit of a mad house, as others have remarked - but there's a good few of us hereabouts modelling a proper railway. Your Radial is a charmer too - did you manage to get the inside motion in as well as the radio control?

Steph yep the Radial has the inside valvegear, but it's absolutely invisible! I've got the M7 sitting on the kit pile, that'll be more of a challenge - I keep watching JB's YouTube video of his G5, but not sure I'm up to that... :)

Hi Richard,

I like the models you've built so far, very nice.

I'm playing with R/C too. At present I have something which can control a motor using PWM, but I've bought a cheap DCC decoder to try and interface with that too.

What sort of R/C hardware are you using? I'm using a little board based upon a TI CC2511 microcontroller. One of them plugged into a laptop to send the commands, and another on the loco to control the motor.

Regards,
David.
