We had a good operating session today good fun three of us one for each district.
I snapped a couple of photos nothing dramatic but here they are anyway.
Camera batteries went flat!

I'll have another bash.
The first photo here is preparing reefers for icing I was in charge of Brooklyn district today so I booked two locomotives because the Brooklyn district not only has it's civilian industries but there is a large military base there as well. I usually assign one loco to switch the base the other for the civvy industries.
Next photo is those blokes have been stacking ties for many years.
A couple of shops in main street The hobby shop is named after a good friend.
Last photo.
Bay Ridge yard can get very busy during a session nothing unusual for six tracks to be filled with freight cars but they move out or in very quickly.

There seems to be a lot of military movement and I notice a train of those newfangled containers probably just another passing fad can't see them taking over the boxcar.
