Hi Guys,

Well hopfully this'll be the start of my 1/32 adventure again after a false start a few years back.

I recently aquired an 04 and then a 3D printed Class 25 plus a couple of 16 tonners from a fellow WT member, the later on a bit of whim...!!

Anyhow,i've decided to make an all be it 'slow' start on the 16 tonners first, so one question first; what adhesives are suitable for the materials that these are made with especialy as i want to add a brass floor to the wagons for weight and stiffness..

A bit of an up date,

The Cl.25/3 has been moved on but we have a brass 20 ton brake van and some Fred Phipps vans to build also...well at some point.. :)
Cheers,
Brian.

Work has started on the 3 16 tonner's,

Have added slater brass bearings to the axle boxes and then the floor to the chassis with.020 thou plasticard followed by .064 thou aluminum sheet to the inside for a little extra weight. This will be covered with another .020 thou piece of plasticard.

I was going to do this in brass, but could'nt justifi the extra cost and with the slaters wheel sets there'll be sufficient weight as they'll only be used on a shunty layout.
