Prototype Anatomy of an LMS Stove R

In a similar vein to the Thompson BZ thread I give you LMS Stove R No 33016 which resides at the Conwy Valley Railway Museum, Betws-y-Coed.
Photographic conditions were not ideal, a restrictive access (the other side of the underframe is blocked by a raised patio area) and an unfavourable aspect for the sun being the chief culprits. However some of the murky world of it's underframe can be viewed so not all bad...

Cheers Steve, very helpful not that this will get the Stove started (let alone completed) anytime soon.

Nice shots of a fascinating prototype (oh boy is there a lot of rot under that paintwork:oops:). Always liked these and have an unbuilt kit for one in 3mm scale. Sadly it's likely to remain a flat-pack as the old and rather iffy. More than likely I'll scratch-build one when time allows.............i.e. sometime in the next 40 years:)).

I have 64 pics of the one at the Bucks Railway Centre, underneath/inside and around, was thinking of a BR Blue one.
