I live in Wootton Bassett and have been modelling in 4mm on and off for more years than I want to remember.
I have a 4mm layout.
This is my first time on a forum so I am on a learning curve.
I decided a year ago to have a go at 7mm and have built two small locos one from Connoisseur models and one from Springside. I have cracked the soldering technique and decide to move on and upward.
I chose the JLTRT Pannier as it said on the website a good starter kit.
Horror upon Horror no written Instructions.
I found Western Thunder after searching the net for help.
I am making progress but it is quite slow.

I am currently building a JLTRT pannier kit for a client, and as you say there's something lacking in the instructions. I've just bumbled through a section fitting parts that aren't mentioned in the 'structions at all!
