Hello from Bergamo ( Italy )

Hello everybody.
I am Fulvio and I am learning about modelling , started some year ago with H0 ( more Italian but not only ) model trains, moved during last years on model cars, trucks, fake lego's ( chinese ) , at the end I like everything that must be assembled.
few weeks ago a friend introduced me on 0 gauge and now I'm really fan of this scale.
For me is rellay interesting read evweriything on your forum related to UK Trains and models.
Now I have the first loco, Terrier LSWR .
In addition an probably more important for me I love Motorcycles, I have a Moto Guzzi California 1400 and since midlle 2021 also a Royal Enfiled Interceptor 650 ( that surprised me, I like a lot ).

thank you all and I wish you a good day.

Benvenuto nel forum.

Ci piacciono molte foto quindi tienici aggiornati.

Motociclette o treni, non ci importa.

Welcome Fulvio.
I like the 4-wheel 'crummy' caboose, especially the detailed interior, and a picture that includes Peppa Pig and a Smurf must be a first for this Forum!! :)

Ah, Peppa Pig was a regular on the late Chris Klein’s threads on RMW, usually when he thought the conversation was getting pompous or pretentious. I recall, it may have driven a rather strangely coloured Minerva Manning Wardle.
I stand corrected, he did it here, too.

Although my sentence in it's entirety is still true - "a picture with Peppa Pig and a Smurf" is a first here.... :p (anyone willing to waste their time trawling the whole Forum to prove me wrong is welcome to do so :)) )

I did have a Laverda Jota once
Always lusted after a Jota. A mate of mine had one, the original 180°. Proper beasty and sounded glorious even on tickover, let alone when given the beans.

I have fond memories of a rather spirited run back from Rhayader, down the A470. He on the Jota me on my XS1100 with a rather less than restrictive 4 into 1 ( Piper I believe ) The 4-1 relied on a rather optimistic baffle which no longer did.

The sweeping bends between Merthyr and Cardiff in particular were "enjoyed".

Yes it is . Giacomo Agostini was Born in Lovere ( a village on Iseo lake . ) this village is part of Bergamo province .
I think that he is leaving again in Lovere , but I'm not sure .

Ciao

Honestly talking on that layout ( completely homemade ) , my first idea was for a duel between Cocco Bill and others but referring to him comic.
But difficult to find figure or really expensive , so i decided for a duel between Cocco Bill and Peppa ( coming from Kinder Choco egg ) .

It is a tribute to Jacovitti .

Welcome Fulvio, nice to see a not so commonly modelled prototype. I don't think there are many models of Italian Railways here in the UK.
Hmmm.,.Moto Guzzi, lovely bikes I had a T3 which I rode to Copenhagen. In actual fact most of the journey was on the ferries as it was pre bridge days. Lovely ride though, but I sold it for my first flat deposit....to the guys at Moto Mecca in S. London.
All the best
Julian
