Hi - another newbie.

Hi,
I am Peter Bunce, living to the east of Manchester, with a liking for pre group railways, and as a pensioner I like to scratch build vehicles and such like in 4mm scale.

I used to work in this scale a while ago, but in between I hacvve built a garden railroad - as it is a North American Narrow Gauge line in c.1880 ish of the fabled Denver South Park & Pacific RR.
They used the American version of the single Fairlies, and were quite large.

That is to 1/20th scale, and the buildings for a small hamlet, the locos, rolling stock, is also scratch built or with the assistance of the worldwide web - talking between the UK, Australia, and the USA.

Now I am interested in the Scottish pre group lines. At the moment I am building a GNSR CCT, and there is from my previous work ((pre 1996) a fair amount of Scottish railway wagons, and some coaches, with more to build - Yes I kept everything I had and thus have plenty to do!

Yours Peter.

Welcome Peter. I'm building mainly Caledonian coaches and wagons at the moment, but will be building other Scottish pre-Group wagons as well - all in S scale.

Welcome Peter - always good to see some scratchbuilt wagons, in any scale (I like the Caley van in the Highland wagons thread), and pre-grouping too. Excellent.
