I was going to say, there is a similar signal at "Drain North" but no, it was ten years after the date of your layout. I will have to keep working on a genuine North Eastern Rly bracket. As you know, the original 1921 drawings have come to light.

I have one book with a few drawings in it that is very good. What I really need to do though is get on and draw the signal posts and get them etched.

My 4mm signals have main posts fabricated from 1mm angle and NS strip. I have also used the same principle in both 7mm and 3/8ins scale. If you want close up photo's etc, please ask. Mick.

At first sight I thought it was a prototype photo.

One of the beauties of 7mm scale is that signals have a real presence. (I need to get down to building mine, having just sent off for 36 quidsworth of etched GC signal arms.)
