Easy-peasy... try a smaller peak (molehills in my garden?) or a bigger box (just think bigger, like Tardis)

I would ultimatly like though is to model a Peak Class 45, ( and yes iploffy, It would be blue!).

With that outlook you'll do well in here Another recruit for the Colonel.

Matey, some of us may model in large scales, but "serious" is a word that would never be applied to us....

I apply the word serious to all my modelling I'll have you know usually preceeding words like 'mess' and 'f@*k-up'

GREEN, GREEN didn't we teach you anything the soothing colour is BLUE,BLUE with YELLOW ends, I am highly disappointed Richard to ruin a thing of beauty with a sub coloured paint

yeah, i think the peak would have to be static as I am pretty sure that the correct size of box file is also known as a shed!. Maybe I should add a small industrial shunter to the list as well

The more I think about it, The more I am convinced that I need to start with a small project , as this is my first scratch build. I mentioned earlier about the possibility of adding a small industrial / shunter to myto do list and came across D2999 in the book "A pictorial record of the diesil shunter" and thought why not! ( besides it means I can actually get on with something whilst playing with the ideas for building diesil roofs that I have very kindy been given ).
Anyway here is a picture "from the bench" of my first hours work on it, not much but a start, and I have to say that so far I am really enjoying it! (btw sorry for the poor quality but the pic is taken from my blackberry)

Well guys, Since starting the shunter scratch build, I have recieved the news that I have got a job that I recently applied for, Looks like I will have to go with the small shunting layout and motorising locos after all!
