It was our wedding anniversary today so Chris and I had a ride across to the North York Moors Railway. The weather was forecast to be rather poor so I didn't take a camera just relying on my phone.

When I got back and downloaded the images amongst the 'normal' shots were a few that look to me like paintings rather than photos. I was messing about with various camera settings on the phone because it's a relatively new one (I managed to drop the old one on polling day smashing the screen and a new phone was cheaper than having a replacement fitted).

Interesting effects. Oddly enough, they are quite useful as aids to modellers as they do effectively highlight small details.

Once my railway is built I expect to use a lot of sepia effects for the pre grouping aspect
