I saw the Bachmann BP in the flesh this morning, really nice looking model and quite fairly priced imho. With the D63 and forthcoming Western there has never been a more tempting time to look at 4mm ;)

I was going to say "you must resist!!"... then I read....

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Seems like there's no hope.....:confused: :oops: :D
Probably no hope at all :))
I spent the afternoon visiting a local loft layout built in EM and that hasnt helped :rolleyes: in the large scales you can only dream about the flowing trackwork that 4mm gives in a sensible space :( actually I have come to the conclusion that I am far less loco centric or focused on the railway side of the fence than I used to be say five years ago.

Erm isn't this where we came in you couldn't decide what to build so you would concentrate on building models as this is what you enjoyed anywho!!!!

The trouble is that I buld/design something for someone and then I fancy it myself! In this case I designed and cut a set of terraced houses in 4mm and we set them up this afternoon and im thinking to myself, I wouldnt mind some of that :confused:

Simple is definitely better for Heyside!

I'll ask Allan - king of the surveys - what length we want, and take some pics of the existing stock, but I can't imagine it will differ much from any other. No sloping roof this time!
