Following on from Scale7JB's thread and the West Mersea saga, I thought I'd dig out a few "Chuffs" adverts to show all the youngsters around here ;D what some of us have been on about.
I'm afraid I don't know the year of this gem, but it will be the early 1970s in the Model Railway News.
It would be great if others could add more, including the recent perfect miniatures productions.
I loved these when I first read them and increasingly think they are really good bits of creative writing, surreal combinations of London, vampires, model trains, Miss Prendergast and much more besides...
