Nor am I, but that and another industrial railway outfit on FB is a public group so worth a look every now and then to see what has come out of the woodwork - some of it fascinating.

Evening all,

Not much to report over the weekend. I have however made a start on the engine shed for Lambton.

It is a Bachmann RTP building kindly donated to the cause. It was missing its doors and one window. Otherwise it was fine bar some stuck on flock and some damage to a downpipe.

I wanted a run down look and decided to fill in two of the windows to suggest that the windows were boarded up following damage.

I also decided to make a pair of doors. The building has doors front and rear. The back of the shed will be up against the backscene, hence only one pair required. As per the infill for the windows, Wills planked sheets were used, suitably scored and distressed. The framing for the doors was plastic strip.

Here are a few photos of progress to date.
