Trouble uploading images

I spent a while taking some nice photos of a recent build to put in the Gallery forum. I exported the edited files to JPEGs, 1024px wide - pretty normal for me. The largest file, according to my Mac, is 178kb. I've even tried opening the files, rescaling and saving. I even wondered if the brackets in the file name might be an issue, but it doesn't seem to be.

No matter. I keep getting an error message when attempting an upload.



Obviously, I can still upload because that screen grab worked. Any ideas why my JPEGs are no longer acceptable?

As you were. It's the speech marks in the file name that's throwing the software. Hope that's helpful for others!

Thanks Heather, that now explains why I had the same problem a little while ago - and gave up trying in the end! Just checked the errant images, and yes; there were "speech marks" in each title!
