Give us a clue, I might recognise it from the road side. it looks like a station building....

the Station had two goods yards ,upper and lower ,a river ran between them heres another image of the tunnel mouth at the east end of the station area. not sure what the white ball of light is ,perhaps i caught an apperition on film as the station is supposed to be haunted  ;D

Yep its Usk ,on the line from Pontypool to Momouth the next station i think was Raglan , the building at Raglan is still there all be it part of a council depot .

The overgrown structure was the weighbridge office at Usk lower goods yard . other railway related buildings also survive as the yard is now a small industrial estate.

Some more images of railway infrastructure this time taken at Parkend I took some images of the original pointwork at the whitecroft end to aid ones idea of the track plan the new length of track thats being laid past the goods shed will end by the signal box but apparently the line formed a passing loop joining back up to the up line via a sunken set of points on the level crossing
