WW2 Locomotive "sectioned" by USAAF

The locomotive was damaged by the American bombardment north west of Caumont in the battle for Caen on or about 9th July 1944.

Neither did I. I looked it up. I copied the image to a Google Image search and got several hits in different languages. An Italian site gave the info - translated by Babelfish - that I copied to here. Now that you know how it's done you are probably much less impressed!
