This has appeared on the Tower website "Heljan Wagons **NEW Section coming 7th September ** "

I wonder if some 7mm wagons from Heljan will be available at Telford ?

Now that's interesting..... I was talking to a ex- railway club member not long ago and he seem to think Heljan were about to produce there ballast wagons in 7mm. I guess that means the Catfish/Dogfish ??.

That would certainly be interesting.

What is on your Telford shopping lists?

Resistance soldering thingy, Mercian 16" Barclay 0-4-0ST kit, Agenoria Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST kit, various figures, scenic detailing bits and pieces etc.

I've never managed to get parked in the exhibition car park so I was going to arrive really early to get in but now that I know it's £3.50 I'll park in my usual off-road spot. It's one of the advantages of having an ancient Land Rover that you don't care whether it gets scratched or not. :)

It costs me £55 round trip in petrol so £3.50 to park close by where I can deposit my purchases is an absolute bargain!

It also beats the hell out of my wife's idea of a day out shopping in Knightsbridge. £3.50 in petrol to get there and £55 to park the car!

The walk will do me good. But I suppose it is a bargain when you compare it to the Warley show. What's that cost to park now? A tenner?

I've heard that a good dodge for parking is to park at Marston Green one stop up the line from B'ham International, where all-day parking is very cheap, and so is the one-stop train ticket. Not done it myself; last time I went was by train all the way.
