Painting and lining

There's me thinking I ought to get on with lining my LSWR G6 to get it finished, and you post these! makes one wonder why I bother.

Andy Beetons 76xxx, plates on their way from Severnmill,
Castle not far away Andy, got some fresh lining orange (muddy brown) it's just thickening up st the moment.

And a bit of 4mil stuff, the G6 was built by Simon Bolton, the T1 by Stephen Duffnel. Both locos are P4 scale

And another 4mm loco, just realised after photos that I hadn't fitted the buffer heads and there is a handrail knob missing which will be put right

Starting to see a small speck of light at the end of a very long tunnel, the final act before the rooves and insignia are done will be to paint over any red blobs on the yellow.

Wasn't she just, I have plates for mine (which will be finished in pre war garter blue) but I haven't had much luck finding many photos of her. I should be grateful I suppose that there is a colour plate of her in the Big Four in Colour but it's a from a way off so not that clear for details.
