Roll up for O Gauge Blue Thunder meet (westerners are allowed if wearing something blue) at the GOG spring show.

When is it: Saturday, 3rd March 10.00am to 4.00pm
Where is it: Kettering Leisure Village, Thurston Drive, Kettering, NN15 6GN
How much does it cost: GOG Members £5, non-members £7
What will I get for my money: Trade Show, layouts and Guild Services, Sales, Demonstrations, Models

I wondered why my ears were burning. Nothing wrong with blue either: there were a couple of Merchant Navies that had blue in their names (Blue Star, Blue Funnel Certum Pete Finem), most were even painted blue for a while. All the Battle of Britains' nameplates were blue.

And the only proper green painted on locos or carriages had more than a touch of blue in it...

Oh, and I 've got a Hungarian electric loco (HO) in t'other room; that's even got yellow ends!

And then there's always the language employed when things don't go so well at the workbench. Although I think that's probably more purple than blue though...

How'd I do?

Think I'll be there now as well, pending work allowing me time off. I could wear something blue, maybe Garter Blue though :thumbs:

Renewing my Guild membership... thats a point.. I wonder if I can do it on the day and still get in for member price?

I shall try not to forget my shopping list this year..!!

Does anyone know what the layouts are? Not that i'll have much time to look at them judging by previous years.. I barely got a chance to look at the layouts at Telford... And I was there for two days !! :headbang:
