Just some photos from today's meeting.
Some ER thingie in the yard, yes I've been told before what it is but my memory is like a ....thingie with holes in!
I never tire of looking at this, every time I see something new, some little weathering effect or modelling cameo.

Nice Ivatt 2MT from Adrian which I understand is a commission, apologies for the blurries, must have fiddled with the wrong dials on the camera.

In my defence it is Eastern and starts with a 6, everyone knows real engines start with a '4'

....and in all fairness to you Mick I couldn't tell what class the Aussie diesel was even with a big number 44 on the side

46468 was probably a bit luckier than most locos starting with 4 being built at Darlington, also I suspect its sheadplate will be 30 E Colchester perfectly at home in '6' country.
As for the 44hundreds all of the New South Wales railway fans would be in horror of one of there loco classes being associated with a Queensland brewery! Tooheys New class would be a much better fit
