Whilst driving along I noticed a light in the trees, TRAIN!!!! Going the opposite way to us but it had to be chased. A&M Alco C420's 44, 48, 66,46, 68,60 on the point. Caught it at a place called Rudy.
An NJCB brass RS3 got me hooked on Alcos, but C420s and C424s are too collectable, so the OVL C424 I sprayed a long time has to put up with Atlas RTRs.

Next up was Fort Smith with a nice collection of GP20's and a GP16 1612 of PREX working on the Fort Smith Railroad. 28-03-04. Lovely old building there that just what I would expect the local knocking shop to be
The next shortline for our attention was the Dardenelle & Russelville Railroad next to the Mississippi at Dardenelle. Lovely old shed building that's more of a lean to these days. Sat next to it and looking like it hasn't moved for a bit was Alco S1 D&R 18. Also stored there but don't know why as they don't run big power were Ex WC GP30's 2252+711 and ex SP SD40T-2 8387+SD40 7363. Also UP SD40-2 9931. 28-03-04
Back in Alco territory now with the Little Rock & Western Railroad at Perry. LRW C420 101+102 wait on depot together with East Tennessee Railway GP8 7736 and LRW GP9 103 hiding in the depot building. Note the Rock Island sign proudly fixed the station building.
On to St Louis now with Terminal Railroad of St Louis SW1500 1504 at Madison Yard and a general view of the yard with more TRRA loco's waiting 31-03-04
