I never even started, despite having about 4 different ideas in my mind's eye! I do hope to get stuck into at least a couple of them at some point, but sadly, not as part of any competition.

I got started but as you say Peter, life & locos got in the way and let’s face it the locos are MUCH more interesting than track and grass!
Here on my very basic photo shelf are two projects which have progressed since the Summer ended. The pug is a rebuild of James Stirling’s 187 class for the City of Glasgow Union suburban passenger traffic but modelled as seen at Dumfries in 1906 where she was mostly a shunting engine with the odd trip to Moniaive on the Cairn Valley light railway. The loco is completed but awaits a bit of subtle weathering. The other engine is an interloper from the Caley, a 960 class 0-4-2 as rebuilt by McIntosh. I like 0-4-2s and this one looks so archaic it cries out to be modelled even though the curly footplate and curvaceous cab are quite challenging.

I got started, but so much more to do...
At least I can be confident that it’s mouse-free.
I need to fit the right hand wing walls and arch properly, then ballast, and do the cess, some handrails over the bridge, and then “scenicify” it a bit, I recall that some DAS kaninchen were on the menu... I also want to have a go at gorse, and a tree or two.
Been busy with the loco shed (on my PD thread on RMW) which is making slow progress. 50 warm white led lamps in domed pendant lampshades arrived in the morning post, and I’ve just lasered the trial smoke hoods and the shed doors, along with a pair of cradles to hold the roof upside down whilst I fit the hoods and lights.
Was looking forward to Reading tomorrow, but will probably not attend due to a stinking head cold, I hope everyone has a good time.
