I'm very happy to report that Fred Phipps is making good progress with the master for what will be a resin cast body for the ubiquitous 12T BR van.



Looking good for fertiliser deliveries to North Cornwall in 2016........

Very nice indeed - like all of Fred's stuff - will the chassis (assuming it's supplied) have the correct BR pattern W irons? No, I'm not in the market for one...

Chassis to be confirmed, currently sitting on a Mercian etch but I'm hoping something more correct for the body will be devised.

In the meantime scratch building and Slaters W irons (ironically from their 10mm kit of the same prototype) together with their buffers will see one nearly there.
