Well done to all involved. With such a talented bunch of modellers (not to mention thoroughly nice blokes), at the helm, the Finney range is in very safe hands.
I expect Steve Fay (Ranelagh Bridge), will be drooling when he sees the picture of a 94xx pannier on the home page! The shape of things to come?

Simon, quite the inverse happily, it's rare, if ever at all, that all six participants are washed out at the same time, more as often as not there's plenty of support when hurdles are met, and overcome.
Time will tell of course, but the work load split into 1/6th certainly helps.

I would like to endorse all the comments made about the successful acquisition of Martin Finney's range of 7mm kits and wish the 'gang of six' every success in re-introducing and ultimately expanding the range of kits on offer. It is to be hoped, that with Scale 7 modellers involved with Finney 7, we may see more thought given to designing kits with Scale 7 in mind, and also producing kits of the less popular locomotive types from the 'minor' railway companies.

I've been following the Finney 7 thread and if you're serious about trying an M7, then have a look on e-bay.co.uk. Currently, there is a complete unbuilt kit available; it may be of interest to you.

Hi,
I am pleased to advise that we have now commenced production of the first 5 kits from the Finney7 range.
They are the M7, T3, Radial Tank, Duchess, and Bulleid Light Pacific, together with the appropriate tenders. There are still a few production hurdles to be overcome, but we expect the first kits to be available in the next 8 - 12 weeks. These will be available in fairly limited quantities, and prices will be posted in due course as soon as we are able to do so.
The first new Finney7 kit will be the W1 in rebuilt form. This will have a resin casing, and we will have pre-production material available for inspection at Guildex.
The web-site has been updated with prototype and model information, and we shall add further items as we can, It is our intention that all instructions, detailed pictures of contents, and photographs of builds are available for all kits. It is, however, going to take time to work our way through all the material, so keep an eye on the site for updates.

In addition to reissuing the existing kits, work continues apace on a number of experimental projects - one of the advantages of a group approach. We have more ideas than we can bring to fruition, at least short term, but you might be interested in this bit of experimentation.
