Forum update - multi quote system.

The final video update for tonight but covering one of the best parts of the new software - the quoting system.

With the latest version of the software you can now add multiple quotes to a reply. Against each message in the bottom righthand corner there is the "+Quote" option. Click on this in as many messages as you want, then when you go to the reply underneath the editor there is a button to insert quotes. This will then popup a box with all your quotes in. You can reorder and remove if required before inserting all into one message.

You can even select quotes from different threads - try picking a couple of quotes from different threads and then insert it into a third thread.

You don't even have to quote the entire message now. In a thread just select some text or a sentence, when you release the mouse it will pop up a dialog box for you to either add just the text snippet to the multi quote system or reply just quoting the text highlighted.

A video demo of it all in action.

Please ask if there are any questions - I personally think this is a great improvement.

This to me is the single biggest improvement - that and your reply being kept as a draft.

Hi Graham,

It means that if you start drafting a reply, then go to another thread, you do not lose what you have drafted.

...........

I have gone to various other threads since writing the first line, and it had not disappeared when I returned (via the back button) to the reply. As someone who has inadvertently lost a few posts in this manner, it is most welcome.
