7mm Garden Railway Running

Seeing as it is such nice weather I have cleaned the track and done a bit of running in the garden.

The 60 and 40 are Heljans forthcoming locos. The 31 and 37 are Heljan conversions as is the 40 as it will be released with disc headcodes. The Thumper is a Peter Clark kit.

Superb stuff, very good indeed. Good enough to start a distraction in fact.
I am tempted by a Thumper project, as a reminder of the Andover- Romsey line in its final years. How was it to build? Any comments good or bad would be extremely useful and gratefully received.

The Thumper is ok to build, it all goes together where it should just take note that I have added a bit to it from the basic kit, do you want a list?

I am tempted with a Tadpole as a Hastings is just too much work with 6 coaches.

It amazes me how different the Heljan 31 is with a skinhead. I must try a heljan 40 with a centre headcode?
