First up, the Sentinel on Simon T's ARSE – be careful how you say that! Lovely model.

A view of Peter Drost's winning entry in the Challenge 33. Tanat Valley 3 with a GWR owned Peckett tank doing the honours.
A view of TV3 from above the bufferstop. Peter told me this view was usually not possible as the end is hard up against a wall. Interesting what you can cram into 33 square feet.
This little exBristol & Exeter Rly tank was the first loco that Peter scratchbuilt in S7, many years ago (he wouldn't say how many).
I am trying without success to load an image of the winner of the Peco wagon-building competition...

Well done. I still recall our discussion some years back when you outlined your plans for suspension and individual traction motors, etc. and it's good to see it all come to fruition. I would have loved to have been there to see it.

I've just got home. We spent the weekend with my parents in Dorset, and their internet is intermittent at best.
Having had a cuppa, I now need to cuddle a cat who has missed us for three whole days, and then I might be able to download the video and edit it.

It was a bit swamped by the nattering going on. Then again, it wasn't overwhelming everything around it, as some sound-equipped layouts can do.

Thanks for posting that, it's far better than my effort, as I suspected it would be! Who'd have thought it, S7 models moving around on an S7 layout

Thanks John, I can still remember it too, even though it was quite some time ago now - 3, possibly 4 years! Hopefully you'll be there to see it in action on another occasion - I might even have the lights sorted out by then

Yes, it will go louder, but gets a bit rattly if I do that at the moment. It sounds reasonably loud at home, but it had a lot more competition in the hall.Yes, a lovely model. Can you turn the volume up?

Now, I may be getting old and forgetful, and I appreciate the correction, but I do recall Martin discussing such beasts on these very forum pages. I know Tom has one, too. I was 50% wrong!
I'll re-edit shortly to correct my error, and re link the vid because no doubt GooToob will be fussy about it.
