Hi All,
I thought I’d say hi before I start asking loads of questions.
After selling my OO gauge layout several years ago I was suddenly taken with the desire to once again build a layout. Having already modelled in N and OO I decided to go one bigger and try O gauge this time. My original plan for a layout was to build a model of West Bay on the Bridport branch. I was forced to shelve the plan after the only layout plan I was happy with was 30 feet long and wouldn’t fit in the house when assembled.
Not one for giving up, for the last month or so I have been building an O gauge garden railway. I currently have about 30 feet of track in an L shape along 2 sides of the garden. I’ll probably leave it at that until the spring when I aim to complete the loop. Depending on how things go it may end up with a station complex using the West Bay plan but as a through station rather than terminus.... we’ll see!

My only loco (so far!) is a Minerva 57xx with a selection of mostly Parkside kits. There’s still a Bridport flavour as the 6 wheel Toad is lettered ‘Bridport’ and the PO wagon comes from the town too.
