Hello everybody I am Paul from near Shrewsbury. I have had a love of railways since a little boy after been taken to see the trains at Wellington ( Salop ) railway station. I have reached my three score years and ten, so it was some years ago. My great interest is in BR (W) steam especially branch lines. Have built a couple of large 'rounds roundly' layouts that had no chance of ever getting finished and have ended up buying farm more loco's and stock than I would ever use. About 3 years ago I decided to build a 'could have been' layout of Clun, which was very much inspired by ' Penhydd '. Clun is the only town in Shropshire never to get a railway. The model is very near completion and I will enjoy running a small WR branch line, running panniers, 45xx , and 14xx. If I have the courage and know how I will try to post some piccies. Forgot to mention that it is in 00, is about 10ft long plus fiddle yard with rtr stock which have all been weathered.
