Oh I dunno - perhaps this time you could turn it into a 4mm layout?

If not Hospital Gates then im sure one or two of the schemes that we currently have in the planning stage will have you thinking!
Mind the next one might be a bit big for 7mm as its big in 4mm :scratch:.

Cheers for that......we were kind of pleased how it came out ourselves, given that none of us had any prior experience in working in 7mm scale!

Still, since its completion and launch onto the circuit we havent exactly been letting the dust settle either.....

Following on from Hospital we took another tack in re-building and reconfiguring and old 16.5mm layout of the L&Y Holcome Brook Branch.

...........and our very latest project has seen us regressing even further into our child-hoods and creating this interesting take on the traditional oval layout for perminent display in the National Railway Museum! ;D

We won't get anywhere though if we keep leaving gaps between the baseboards as per the last photo. ;D

I really like the last one, shows what you can do with a simple oval, what size is it 4x10? 
I have always fancied doing a 'shake the box' CJF plan, and I might get the chance now the boys are getting a little older.

Not far off!.....its actually a very modern and metric 3.5m by 1.5m  (so somewhere in the region of 11'6"x5').
Some of CJF's plans are a bit challenging for the areas they purport to occupy (mind track radii have changed over the years). Paul Lunn is the one for more practical and workable plans for such schemes these days.

Mind the NRM layout isnt our first go at returning to the 'trainset' oval ....not so long ago we had a crack at the ever popular 6x4!
