These are some gauges that I've had made the idea is that they will fit between the sleepers of both running lines and so hope fully give me an almost perfect curve they heve holes in them so that they can be fixed down and just gradually move them around the baseboard (does that make sense )

Just been getting on with the midland brake van it's quite nice to make something again

Your Beames Tank loco looks really nice John - I didn't realise that these were new in 1923 !! (I just looked it up) - looks much older, and almost like the kind of loco Webb might have built ?

I'm really looking forward to watching your railway progress.

Thanks Mike yes it does have that old railway look about it doesn't it .There are a couple of G2s in the pipeline as well as a couple of Q6s long long coal trains planned :)

Hi a bit of progress on the brake van (think I need to tidy up my bench ) I've managed to twist or bend nearly every etch on this kit and spent ages tying to straighten them out OH WELL :confused:

Hi these etches for stone tippler wagons turned up this morning they are made by Steve Harris of the 2mm association I have ten of them to build but that will be after the brake van
