John, the cut of minerals... are they all the same? I ask because one looks like a Chas Rbts slope side and that would be a nice wee beastie in any scale.

Hi Graham I think it's just the photo that makes it look that way although a couple of slope sided ones will shortly be on their way to me I need two trains of 25 wagons

Excellent John,

I had a drawing for one of these and I planned to scratch build one many moons ago but then I realised that Gladiator did a kit so there much point in scratch building one.

Hi John I like most Brassmasters kits (i'm building two 4mm kits now) but I could never build any-thing in 2mm I would never see them:)). I hope you can come to the S7 meet in Sotwell in April so I can say hello again:thumbs:.

Almost time for the beames 0-8-4 tank I'm looking forward to this although the main body etch is a reduced Brassmasters kit the chassis is by Nigel Hunt 2mm extraordinaire

John,

Don't you build your 2mm locos with split frames. These days it seems the way to go.

Thanks John, I shall look forward to it. It seems that 2mm is becoming popular here.
