I hope you have embraced rubbish sorting in your household.

You know the drill: cardboard boxes should go in the recycle bin if you can't use them again - only the Atlas freight cars in the landfill bin…...

Mmmm, Dash 9, very tasty:thumbs:

Your right, virtually zero US modern outline kits that I've found and OOTB tends to be very Xmas tree toylike:(

Not having expendable cash for an Overland, I'll probably have to resort to scratch building or working up some CAD etches, which is of course at odds with the R-T-R philosophy:cool:

Clearly such wonderful entertainment as the Back of the Class, Armchair Modeller magazine & so on were merely tolerated because I happened to be on Admin at the time.
I do hope that you are wrong. "Back of class" gives hope and "Armchair Modeller" is a piece of brilliant writing.
I recollect a recent post which remarked that many comedy/humorous/satirical comments have a short term relevance and that comment could well be so for later posts to the armchair.

No, they were appreciated because they were part of the forum ethos. While most of the time we took our trains seriously, we didn't necessarily take ourselves seriously. I'd hope that we can return to such a happy state as soon as possible.

Never take yourself seriously, no one else ever does, I was told that when I was an apprentice by a very old fitter and never a truer word spoken ;)
