Yes, I can go along with what you say about lack of depth Peter, but I'm looking at this from another angle. When I photograph real trains, I do not expect the focus to fall off after the second coach. (It does with large format unless the camera has movements). So I am trying to show two or three model coaches sharply in focus.Nice models Larry.
I must be old fashioned, I dislike photo stacking, to me it produces pictures that look unreal. No perception of depth. As I am here writing my phone is in focus, but I can see my feet and my son, but neither are as clear and sharp as my phone, and vise versa.
