No laughing here mate, I think its a wicked idea  :thumbs:  You've done well to squeeze O gauge into that amount of space, and I like the style of presentation, shades of Villier Street perhaps?

Quick question or two - does the box have a roof and lights? If so, do you operate partly from the front and partly from the side / rear?

It might be worth sticking a lid on it when you've cranked it up to the right height - I found on Dungeness it helped to reduce any colour cast by the exhibition hall as well as removing any distractions from the line of sight - just go with the flow when its all up and running.

Jordan I know the problem only too well, my evostick is now crystalline. Not many people can say that, but at least they can't touch you for it. ;D

Fantastic layout, there is something utterly fab about looking at locos "head on" and I do like a triangular jobbie.

Look forward to seeing this develop - I am partial to the odd Funit too :thumbs:

Nice idea Jordan  :thumbs: , it reminds me of a UK stabling point layout that was around a couple of years ago (who's name escapes me) which was a very similar viewing angle & shape..........an excelent idea that really works well  :bowdown:.
Could you tell us more about your DIY static grass thingybob ..........sounds better idea  than a second mortgage for the Noch one  :scratch: :))

I've just caught up with this thread and I have to say I'm loving the look and feel of what you're doing.  The SOO/Milwaukee 'Bandit' scheme loco is superb.  Have you got a stock list?

I could be tempted by a Trainman U23B with a re-spray into 'Bandit', just from looking at what you're doing here.  Well, it's either that or buying the bits to make an SDL39...!
