The steel minerals are exceptional...
All the best
Julian
Thanks, Julian.

I reweathered my 21-ton minerals and also added to them with another Parkside 1/110 build and some more Accurascale Diagram 1/107s. For a bit of variety I modified two of the Accurascale models as early 1970s Shildon rebuilds. As if that wasn't enough I bought some 24.5 ton minerals and weathered those, too.

Ruston 88DS with 24.5ton mins.

I have a new BR loco to run on BL. Long story short and in a roundabout way, it was a gift from a friend. A new tooling Bachmann Class 25 with sound. I couldn't leave it alone, as usual, and removed the boiler water tank and renumbered it to 25278 before weathering it.

The Class 24 that I have previously shown has become a 25/0 by removing the boiler tank, having the gangway doors "plated over" and gaining a new number.

Good to see the layout in this months BRM
I was pleased to see tha itt made the cover, too!

There isn't much to do on BL now, except for operating it. I have recovered some trees and bushes from a layout that I have broken up, so they will make their way onto BL as the next layout won't have much greenery at all.
