BFK 17023 is running in one of the general service sets on the Mid-Hants Railway. The photos in this post are of the interior of the luggage area and Guard's office - all of the window bars have been removed. To help with interpretation of the photos, this carriage is dual heat and dual brake (ex BR).
Towards gangway. The brackets in the ceiling are the attachment points for the luggage cage (removed).

Guard's office to show gauges and pipework associated with brake setter and test cock. The top gauge is for the vacuum brake and the lower gauge is for the air brake. The test cock for the air brake is to the left of the air brake gauge and the brake setter for the vacuum brake is below the air brake gauge.
Double door for loading / unloading parcels, day-old chicks, calves in sacks and BRUTEs.
