It's going to be a while before I actually cut the first etch on this model, but I wanted to just leave this here as food for thought.
I collected a box from Mr Carr today. It's an MMP Mk1 RMB (miniature buffet) kit, with the interior detail kit.
I've procured a suitable ring binder for the instruction tome , and I took the opportunity to have a quick read. Can I just say, one corridor connection contains roughly 30 parts - and that's without the cover plates, which must have at least another 20 parts. This is some serious brass etched engineering.
I'll leave you for now with the thought that I am really going to enjoy this build - even though it probably won't start in anger until around Easter 2014!
(It's been agreed, sadly, we won't be adding curly ham sandwiches, concrete pork pies and empty polystyrene cups. )
