Excellent as always! But I think the Exeter Corporation double decker, is in fact standing at the entrance to Exeter St. David's station.

Agreed - the building behind the bus is still recognisable, in this Google Street View picture….

Yes, it’s at St.David’s. The station is behind the person taking the photo. The building next to the bus is the Royal Mail building, now demolished.

My mistake - thank you all for the comments. Not having any information or caption to go on, I just saw the sign on the wall, but should have read it properly. I'll change the caption, and pretty sure the photographer wouldn't have ventured very far from the station!
