Thanks Simon. The signal box is very heavily based on Perranwell Station, also on the Falmouth branch. The main difference is that in order for the signalman to have line of sight through the station I had to turn the cabin through 180 degrees. This meant that the lobby and steps on the model are at the rear rather than the front and the window positions adjusted to suit.
Here's a picture of the interior.

Thanks all for your warm welcome and I'm pleased that you like Weatherbury Magna.

I must stress that this layout is built by a group of six: myself, Jon Hewlett, Roy Payne, Richard Honey, Ian White and Vernor Bates. It is not finished yet as signalling needs to be installed plus other bits and pieces...and it is going to be extended in time for Swindon 2019!

Julian, thanks for the comments about the track. It was made using C&L components and ballasted with stone from Attwood Aggregates. We did a lot of research into track formations and details such as the facing point locks. At the down end of the station, the junction where the LSWR crosses the GWR is based on the crossing at Highbridge.

I guess at some point I should start a thread on Weatherbury Magna in a more appropriate place!
