The Regent tank train has grown to 10 wagons, I want to double it to 20 plus a brake van, should be a nice train for Gaer Junction behind 92220.
Both sides of the fascia on Severn tunnel east are now resplendent in gloss black. I will leave it to harden over the weekend and start track laying track early next week

At that period would there be barrier wagons or had these disappeared by then or was it just operational whether they were there or not?

I like the Coney Island Beach poster in the background.

This is heavy oil so I don't think the barrier was nessesary. If it was petrol then one would be required. It will be set around 1960/ 64
I do have a picture of 92220 on this train which I shall dig out

Hi Steve,

numbers 92205/06/11/31 & 39. I have books with photos of 9Fs on oil trains, but none showing these locos doing the business. Yes they were fitted with SR lamp brackets on the front end - there is a great photo of 92239 in the Irwell Press 'Book of the 9F'

Yes the top picture was in my phone I'm not sure of the location, where as the second was a link to the picture of the 9F on the Fawley oil train,

92205 lamp brackets are different to those on 92239... shape, number, position... as standard as a good Mk.1!

92205 is being coaled at Eastleigh.

I built this little PWay hut from an Intentio kit today. Lovely little kit that might find itself on Coryton cove! I started on the track weathering today, the up line will be cleaner as its mainly newer flat bottom rail.

I'm using the same printed paper for the small retaining walls on STE as I used on the pits on Canton.

Both boards are bolted together to compete the ballasting, here's the line side buildings in place plus the concrete trunking plus some signalling wires.
I still have to clean up the PVA residue then weathering

That all sounds very interesting, especially as I have a roll of teddy bear fur to convert to grass for landscaping. Any advice and pictures of your techniques would be most welcome. More of a loco builder than a Capability Brown, so need all the help I can get.
