The compartment side of the E85 was nice and simple. All the precut glazing fitted without needing adjustment.
The C31, however, appears to have been packed with a glazing sheet for a different toplight kit.

Using spare bits I had to cut two corridor windows, as the sheet was short of two the right size.

On the compartment side, every single piece needed shaving very carefully. Tedious, tedious, tedious. Thank goodness for a good record collection blasting away in the background.

Where I am as I type. The C31 is on top, and needs the frosted glazing for the toplights. I’m not sure my sanity can deal with it today. The E85, at the bottom, is completely glazed and all the glue cleaned up. I still need to make up the corridor grab rails for both these coaches.
The C54 is still awaiting attention for glazing. Perhaps tomorrow.
