Hi all,
now I know that the subject of track underlay is a diverse one and that some use the tried and trusted cork or foam or nothing at all. However, has anyone used thick card sheets as underlay? I ask as although I've used cork so far I have stacks of thick card which I can get for free from work and they are the same thickness as the cork that I've been using. Also being corrugated in the middle there is a considerable drop in weight also over the cork equivalent. I'm going to experiment on using the card for the last siding in the yard but I thought I'd see if anyone else here has experience of using this medium in their layout construction,
regards,
Mark
