Under no circumstances should Rob a.k.a. @Flaxfield be allowed to see these photos....

Only kidding Rob - if anything, they remind me of your various layouts, rather than the other way round.

Nice to see those images gathered together. They do make rather fascinating viewing, essentially showing the life of the line.

Particulary nice to see an image of 68225, along with 68217, on shed at Upwell amongst them.

Although the rule book stipulated locos should be fitted with cowcatchers and skirts, there we see an unskirted J70. It wasn't a fleeting visit either. There are other photos of 68225 along the line itself and it apparently stayed for a little while.

Until it went all tired and emotional, my Rapido 68225 was a bit of a star at the Bristol show last weekend. That said, the remaining two, 68222 and 223 stepped into the void.

I had a good many conversations about the W&U whilst operating, along with excited shouts of 'that's Toby' from the younger viewers over the weekend.
