Hi Tim,
What are the origins of the 43xx?
Many thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,

Bob says it's a Mainline body, with added detail on a Whitbourne Models etched chassis.

Whitbourne Models was a small concern that apparantly flourished briefly in the early - mid-1980s, with the chassis products being akin to those of Perserverance.

Hi Tim
Many thanks for the 43xx info, I've never heard of Whitbourne Models.
The 43xx is my favourite class of loco, especially in black.
I have a couple of the Bachmann version, one green, one black, plus a Lionheart 7mm one in green, I've had it for several years and it is yet to turn a wheel!!

Presumably the walls of the loading bank originally formed part of something quite substantial?
