Len,
Excellent recovery. A lot of work for you but certainly worth the effort. Well done.

While I am posting, how do I put the index on the front of the post so I can go to the last post and add to more posts?

I’ve been trying to find the time to finish off a guide on thread marks. Currently it’s in draft but I’ll try to make the effort to publish it, hopefully that will help.I have tied that but it made no difference, I don't now if you need to do something else.

If you are not picking power up from the track then no. The hole is to pass a wire through to the pick-up.I have got to this stage of adding the dummy hornguides, but if it is battery operated do I need to do this?

Personally I would lightly tin the rear of the hornguide plate and then sweat it onto the chassis using the ERSA station, only because I don't have an RSU, if you have an RSU then it would do the job just as well. [ I have had 2 RSUs but never found a job for it that I couldn't do with the ERSA station so sold the RSUs - but that's another story!]It's been 4 months since I last posted (too hot) now it's a bit cooler now (a bit warmer than England though). I am in a bit of a quandary, how do I fit the horn-guied to the chassis (I have a flame, Exctoscale resistance soldering station and a ERSA soldering station) any idea of what to do?
