Did they have Ivatt 4s in the era you are modelling Mick? !!
Conversion to S7 - well the frames are pretty widely spaced as they are, so I guess it would be possible, the main problem being clearance behind the crosshead. But I suspect S7 guys are used to that...

They did, i'm a 48 to at a stretch 52 type bloke and at a quick glance at 1950 allocations 43053 was delivered along with four other class mates to Hull Dairycoates, i'm assuming brand new at the time ?? So there's my excuse

So whilst I'm waiting for some final bits for the Ivatts, it's back to the new day job - I'm back on the Standard Tank conversions. The bogies and pony trucks have been made up, and I have now begun on the chassis of 80154.
First task is to relocate the front stretcher to make a new pony truck pivot. These chassis are pretty hefty, but it's all brass, so easy enough to modify... I've dispensed with the chassis bottom plate.
Next, I need to work out how to mount the bogie... tomorrow...

I'd try the Guild website - I'm not sure how the tank loco owners actually contacted Sans Pareil Len.
Conversions are always more work than a straight build, 'cos you've got to get all the stuff you don't want off first.
After some hefty work with the blow torch to remove the old fittings, the cylinders were prepared for the new ones:-
Here they are with the new fittings awaiting a cleanup.
