Cynric, where do you get your acrylic and Mylar from, as a number of the window panels supplied with the kit are poor/mishapen and will need replacing (in fact, I think I'll replace them all).I came to the same conclusion with glass, whilst it does have great reflectivity it is a PITA to cut. I use optical grade acrylic which is excellent, I also replace the cab glazing with it, the downside is the cost.
Im awaiting a batch of Mylar which is excellent for pre cut window masks if you choose to glaze before painting![]()
Did you do some etches for opening cab windows too? I'd really appreciate it if I could get a hold of some of those......
Cheers, Boris.

I could send you a sample cab window......

. All bogies will be powered
but "Hey", I'm happy!
I'm also building a spare bogie set so that a simple drop-down and replacement is available to keep the fleet running if any were to develop a fault out at a show, etc., but it's a fair bit of extra work to "standardise" them so that the quick change can be made without effecting the DCC/all lights/fans/decoders, etc., which will now all be body mounted, and only the drive motors and wiring will be chassis mounted.
