Good evening folks,
For those who are interested in the 'life' of steam locomotives after withdrawal, and there seem to be a number of folk who are, then the place for accurate information is the 'What Really Happened to Steam' (WRHTS) website and the information contained therein.
Too much scrapping dates/locations information is tainted by the inaccurate/fabricated Hands data, as has been outlined in a number of Railway Magazine articles.
I understand that some of this may have been carried over to other resources of steam loco scrapping information.
Cheers, Nigel.
